Hoops + Health Weekend: 3x3 Basketball Challenge 

This event marks the peak of the Hoops & Health series, hosted by Sun Life Indonesia in collaboration with Beyond Sport, as a campaign to promote active living from an early age through the sport of basketball. More than just a sports event, it serves as a platform to empower young people, communities, and Sun Life Indonesia employees to combat the growing trend of sedentary lifestyles and physical inactivity. Coinciding with Sun Life Indonesia’s 30th anniversary, this event also reflects the company’s continued commitment to building a healthier Indonesia.

 Why 3x3 Basketball Challenge?

3x3 Basketball Challenge encourages teamwork, agility, and quick decision-making while keeping participants physically active and engaged. Our focus is especially on children to encourage them to be more active from an early age; that’s why more than half of the participants are kids aged 10 to 12. By combining this competition with coaching clinics, we aim to create greater opportunities for youth participation as part of our goal to help 45,000 young people get active through basketball by the end of 2025.
