Hoops + Health
We are passionate about creating a healthier future for the next generation. Through our partnership with Beyond Sport on the Hoops+Health program, we aim to inspire 45,000 young people across Asia – Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore – to get active through basketball by 2025. By tackling rising youth physical inactivity, we are helping to reduce the risk of chronic conditions like diabetes and empowering young people to lead healthier, more active lives.
Investing in basketball
Sun Life is committed to making a lasting impact on the health and well-being of communities. In partnership with the Basketball Association of Hong Kong, we are planning to invest over HK$10 million in a three-year collaboration to develop a professional basketball ecosystem in Hong Kong. This initiative underscores our dedication to inspiring young people to embrace an active lifestyle, reducing the risks of chronic conditions like diabetes, and empowering them to live more healthy and fulfilling lives.
