In line with our commitment to continuously meet the needs of the community for Sharia-based protection, we are pleased to announce that PT Sun Life Financial Syariah Indonesia, or Sun Life Syariah, has officially commenced operations effective October 1, 2026. 

The commencement of Sun Life Syariah’s operations follows the approval from the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia (OJK) for the transfer of the Sharia participation portfolio, including related assets, liabilities, equity, and customer personal data, from the Sharia Business Unit of PT Sun Life Financial Indonesia to Sun Life Syariah, in accordance with applicable regulations. 

With Sun Life Syariah now in operation, your Sharia insurance policy is officially managed by Sun Life Syariah. Most importantly, this change does not affect the policy benefits, rights, obligations, services, or claims process you receive. Your protection continues in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of your policy. 

The presence of Sun Life Syariah marks an important step in our journey to provide more focused and relevant Sharia protection services for the people of Indonesia.
