REDmoney Group hosted the first Islamic Finance News Indonesia Forum 2012 on the 16th and 17th April in Jakarta. The two-day event featured an Issuers Day, Investors Day, and Takaful and retakaful Day and grasped the movers and shakers of the Islamic finance industry gather to discuss the most current and relevant issues within the Indonesian Islamic financial markets. Covering all sectors from banking, capital market, shariah/takaful to retakaful, the IFN Indonesia Forum aimed to highlight key developments in tax and regulations, investment opportunities in Indonesia, liquidity and corporate governance, and the potential growth of shariah banking sector and takaful in Indonesia. Sun Life Financial Indonesia’s shariah business unit was pleased to sponsor the event that covered the most pertinent topics in Indonesia's Islamic finance landscape. The event has been attended by 747 delegates from all over the world. At this event, Bert Paterson presented topic regarding the Growth of Takaful and Retakaful in Indonesia and the Region and Marsangap Tamba spoke at the Investors Roundtable session.
